Elite Pinhole® training with 2 days of hands on workshop. All classes are Friday/Saturday. Deluxe breakfast with omelet and waffle station both days and buffet lunch both days. Deluxe dinner served Friday night.

Course Description:

This course, "The Pinhole® Surgical Technique" is offered to all dentists who want to learn a minimally invasive technique for treating receding gums. The two day course will consist of hands on training with cadavers. Doctors will learn through a two day hands-on workshop including instrument training on typodont models, pig jaws and cadavers. Lecture by Dr. John Chao will cover all facets of the Pinhole® procedure, case presentation, PST insurance options, dental assistants, hygiene role and the presentation of effective Pinhole marketing strategies. Dr. Chao delivers a comprehensive lecture on The Pinhole® Surgical Technique.

Course Objectives:

Learn how and why the Pinhole® Surgical Technique is an effective method for treating gingival recession. Understand how to effectively use the method to treat patients who have receding gums. Recognize and apply effective principles of case presentation for the Pinhole® Surgical Technique. Understand insurance billing methods for the Pinhole® Surgical Technique.

Dr. John Chao – Bio:

Dr. John Chao graduated from the USC School of Dentistry and currently practices general dentistry in Alhambra. He received professional degrees from both USC School of Dentistry and Southwestern University School of Law. Dr. Chao has served as a reviewer for the Journal of Periodontology and he also teaches ethics at the USC School of Dentistry. Dr. Chao also holds the following professional titles: Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, Fellow for the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, and Member of the Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry. In 2012, Dr. Chao was recognized as the teacher of the year at the USC School of Dentistry for outstanding service over 10 years.

The two-day training will be given in two locations:
