9:30-11:00     Live surgery

3:30-3:45      15 minute break
3:45-4:15      Pinhole Power pages and Patient acquisition

Important Reminders:
Friday night 5:30pm: there will be a mixer and dinner hosted by Dr. Chao. I highly recommend that you make your arrangements to be at this dinner, you will have an amazing time—and you may RSVP a guest (but not required).
5:30pm-8:00pm- Dinner and Social


Saturday Morning 6:30am-7:30am: Round table discussion with Dr. Chao at the seminar location. This is an opportunity for you to discuss cases and details of the Pinhole procedure.

Live Surgeries: Pinhole party bus will transport you to our office and back to Almansor Court.


Flight info: LAX or Burbank recommended. LAX is about 30 miles from the hotels in Pasadena. Burbank airport is about 25 miles from the hotels. Shuttle, taxi, or rental cars are options for transportation from the airport to your hotel and from your hotel to the seminar site: Almansor Court.


Transportation: Prime Time Shuttle—(800) 733-8267 has proven to be a reliable option for transportation from airports to hotels and from hotels to airports. About $20-$25 one way.


Agreement: The Chao Agreement regarding rights to practicing the Pinhole Surgical Technique will be given to you and must be to be signed prior to the seminar at registration. The Pinhole Academy has arranged corporate room rates at the Courtyard Marriott and the Langham Hotel. There is not a guarantee of this rate for all seminar dates. Reserving early is recommended.

No corporate/business rate with the Hilton but it is a good alternative in the event that the Langham and the Marriott are booked. Rooms range from $180-250


Instruments are not included in the course tuition, they are sold separately at the seminar


A single pack consists of 13 patented PST instruments and the retail price is $5,000 USD. At the seminar a single pack is offered at $4,000 and a twin pack is offered at $7,500. Dr. Chao Highly recommends having 2 sets of instruments at the ready for each surgery. An easy payment option is available for purchasing the twin pack at the seminar only, is as follows:
* Approximately $2500/ month
* 9% sales tax applies to all instrument sales unless the instruments are shipped outside of California.
*$75 shipping fee applies.
*Check or credit card may be used for payment of instruments.


You will be able to take all instruments with you at the end of the seminar even if a payment option is selected. If you are scheduled for surgery the week following the seminar, we strongly advise that all instruments purchased at the seminar are taken with you. Otherwise ground shipping will take 3-5 days in the US and may take longer for delivery outside of the US. Instrument packs may not be enclosed in carry-on luggage. All instrument packs must be in baggage that is checked in at the airport.



Remember to bring
• Loupes (if you use them)
• Case study photos and/or models
• Check in luggage if you think that you may take instruments with you, rather than having them shipped.
